Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for Shipper-Material Handlers to join the Distribution team.

The role is a 6 month contract role, working 1st (6:00 a.m. - 2:15 p.m.) shift.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Ensure completion of necessary paperwork for shipping product and/or receiving material
  • Completion of all necessary paperwork and computer transactions involved in the Receiving and Storage of Product from Suppliers.
  • Liaise with purchasing to address vendor complaints
  • Operation of pedestrian pallet truck, order picking truck and forklifts in compliance with established safety operating procedures
  • Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area and perform duties in a manner that promotes safety and compliance with all regulations.
  • Participate in daily tier meetings and monthly safety meetings


  • At least 2 years of experience operating a Centre Ryder truck is required.  Experience using a counterbalance and reach trucks is a strong asset
  • Proven ability as a strong team player
  • Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience using SAP is an asset
  • Able to operate in an area where there is heat, noise, dirt & dust
  • Must be willing and able to work in a multi-shift environment 


Tremco operates 5 days a week, 24 hours a day across 3 shifts (6:00a-2:15p, 2:00p-10:15p and 10:00p – 6:15a).
