QC Quality Leader

The QC Quality Leader is responsible for updating documents, forms processes and data to ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity in our field reporting. Documents include electronic and hard or soft copies. This position is responsible for the audit of all documents, forms and processes related to inspection services. Key responsibilities include reviewing and recommending document and form changes. Participating with teams, focus groups and committees working towards reporting and quality excellence.  Review of data and information existing In OLI with a focus on data quality, reporting excellence and customer value.  The QC leader has direct responsibility for reviewing TPW inspections and making necessary corrections before release to the customer.

Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:

  • Reporting and quality excellence
  • Reviewing of TPW inspections for roof rating, recommendations, and other inspection information
  • Develop C.O.R.E. quality improvement plans through validation of OLI data
  • Assist with document gathering, investigation and recommendation of customer quality concerns.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend controls or process changes. Recommend policy and procedure changes based on validation and reporting findings.
  • Prepare quality reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
  • Test tools and process changes for data collection, reporting and field service process prior to roll out Validate field performance and use of reporting tools and processes
  • Participate in quality plan development to improve inspection and reporting process.
  • Immediately escalate field concerns or issues with either processes or technology tools to the Operations and Quality teams

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:

  • Superior written, oral and digital communication skills
  • Able to effectively communicate with all field personnel
  • Processing Information: Compiling, coding, cataloging, calculating, auditing or verifying information or data
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but not a requirement
  • Basic knowledge of the roofing and building envelope industries.
  • Technical writing experience in the building envelope market.
  • Experience using various information resources including on-line databases, publications, etc.
  • Experience in marketing and communications, including researching industry-related markets for advertising opportunities.
  • Ability to utilize spreadsheets for budgeting and tracking data.
  • Ability to multi-task and change priorities as needed.
  • Ability to work effectively, independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
  • Excellent computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other programs as needed.
  • Organizing, planning and prioritizing work: developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work
  • Thinking creativity: developing, designing or creating new applications, ideas, relationships
  • Must be comfortable with current technology devices and operating systems
