Job Description

Nudura Systems, Incorporated is looking for a Third Shift Team Lead (Expanded Polystyrene Machine Adjuster) in the Columbus, Georgia area. The Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Machine Adjuster oversees that all equipment in the EPS Department is functioning correctly, and ensures top-quality products are being produced while maintaining the highest level of safety standards required. Other duties in maintenance will be assigned in conjunction with daily inspections.


  • Prepare all Alessio equipment for EPS production daily (startup).
  • Coordinate efforts with the Maintenance Manager on production machines not meeting standards with respect to quality and mechanical-related matters.
  • Check periodically throughout the shift to ensure all machines are functioning properly, and production machines are producing top-quality parts.
  • Adjusts equipment to meet quality standards.
  • Check Silo levels and ensure all machines are running on the correct Silo (Work in conjunction with Pre-Expander Operator).
  • Keep records of all maintenance efficiencies and problems with the EPS department equipment.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly toolbox (put all tools away daily) to ensure tools are maintained in good quality condition.
  • Change out molds on both the Alessio and Husky machines with assistance from the Maintenance Department, as needed.
  • May be required to operate a forklift and scissor lift on an as-needed basis.
  • Shut down all necessary equipment at the end of the shift or prep equipment for the next shift.
  • Identifies and records any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system.
  • Cross-trains on other production positions to provide assistance as business need dictates.
  • Performs other related duties as required, requested, or assigned.
  • Adjusts equipment to meet quality standards.
  • Initiates, recommends, and provides solutions through the proper channels.
  • Reports all quality and mechanical issues to Supervisor.
  • Testing of raw materials and signs off on paperwork to unload if quality is met.
  • Report all safety hazards to immediate Supervisors if not able to correct the issue.
  • It is the responsibility of the EPS Machine Adjuster to report any violations of departmental procedure to their immediate supervisor.


  • High School diploma or GED equivalent, required.  
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or plant preferred. 
  • Previous mechanical background is preferred. 
  • Forklift operator’s license preferred, but not required as training can be conducted on site 


  • This position works in an environment in which safety, environmental and health concerns may demand constant attention.  
  • The facility environment can reach extreme heat and cold with no HVAC system to moderate in the changing seasons. 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English, including safety rules, operating procedures, product specifications, material identification, and write to accurately complete all documentation. 
  • Must be able to operate and use all necessary equipment. (i.e. Forklift)  
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, squat, reach, grab, pull, push and lift items that can weigh from 25-50 pounds.  
  • Performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently exposed to both the production floor which may contain fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud with constant interruptions and frequent discussions/conversations with staff regarding schedules and needs. 
  • This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. The standard workday schedule is set by the Plant Manager with two shift options (day and evening).  
  • The job may require overtime due to seasonal demands at the request of the Plant Manager.
