Senior Human Resources Generalist - HRIS

If you are a well-rounded HR generalist with expertise in HRIS please contact us. We have an immediate need.  The Senior HR Generalist will also serve as an integral part of the HR team and will support departmental goals and plans for growth.

Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:

  • Monitor and maintain HRMS and Time Keeping systems to ensure proper operation and reporting thereby resolving application, network or hardware issues that present problems for our users (working with the vendor and/or internal technical support).
  • Ensure data integrity of HRMS and Time Keeping Systems
  • Promote the use of Employee Self-Service and Manager Self-Service functions.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Analyze data flow for process improvement, recommend and help implement solutions to improve efficiencies.
  • Lead technical HRMS implementations and upgrades.
  • Act as Technical point of contact for reports and data extraction.
  • Complete Affirmative Action Plan Reporting and Data Analysis.
  • Complete and verify company headcount reports.
  • Trains end-users on all Human Resources Management Systems.
  • Accountable for the Year-end Employee Merit and Bonus process.
  • Work with managers to develop Job Descriptions for new roles.
  • Maintain Job Descriptions and Job Analysis for all positions.
  • Review compensation for new positions and market adjustments
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition Team to manage requisitions for new hires.
  • Assist in determining department needs as they pertain to HR Management Systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and participate in team projects as required.

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:

  • Strong HRIS administration background
  • Must have advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office      
  • Oracle and Kronos experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws (FLSA), compliance (I-9, EEO, AA, etc.), and legal requirements.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to present to small groups when needed, have prior experience conducting training, or a strong willingness to do so.
  • Must be detail-oriented with excellent follow-up and proofreading skills.
  • Must be innovative and look for ways to make continual improvements in the HR processes that flow between HR, Recruiting, and other departments.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to lead projects or teams
  • Must execute high quality and high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
