Euclid Chemical has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Product Specialist in the Concrete Admixtures department in Cleveland, OH.

Basic Function:

The Product Specialist is responsible for providing technical support on Euclid Chemical admixture products offered to customers, company sales and marketing staff, as well as design professionals. This includes support via telephone, responding to electronic requests for product support, participating in customer and sales training, and assisting in the development of technical sales tools.  The Product Specialist is expected to demonstrate an enthusiastic commitment to providing industry-leading service and support to internal and external Euclid Chemical customers.  They should also be dedicated to personal growth in product knowledge and industry experience.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide service and support for the Euclid Chemical admixture product lines
  • Assist in product troubleshooting by proactively coordinating testing and analysis activities between sales representatives, customers, Product Managers, R&D/product development, and operations.
  • Assist in the development of next generation sales tools such as product comparative guides, certification letters, product calculators, concrete mix design tools etc.; formats include paper-based, web-based, and/or electronic tools.
  • Actively participate and complete tasks efficiently within the company’s Corporate Initiatives
  • Interact as a reliable peer especially to product managers and assistants, marketing communication staff, sales representatives, customer service, business development, R&D/product development, and the operations group.
  • Maintain electronic product technical files.
  • Help plan and provide product training and demonstrations to organization/customers.
  • Occasional travel to construction jobsites or customer locations to provide product support and travel to participate in industry and Trade organizations/associations may be required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor of Sciences/Engineering degree or concrete technology related experience/education preferred
  • Experience in Customer Service, CRM, and/or a background in a high paced office environment
  • Prior SAP or MRP experience or acumen to learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
